Incumbent Loses District 197 School Board Election

Dwayne Dill was the only candidate running for re-election to the West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan School Board.

The District 197 School Board will see three new faces as terms start next year. Four candidates ran for three spots on the board. Dwayne Dill, the only school board member to run for re-election will not be returning to the board.

Matthew Klein said that it was the first time that he had run for election. He was grateful to his supporters who helped him campaign and to the other candidates, whom he said ran a civilized campaign. They each had respect for each other, he explained.

Klein added that he thought he would continue to reach out to Dwayne Dill "for his experience and his advice."
