St. Thomas Academy Wins State Alpine Ski Title

Dylan Thomas wins second individual crown, as Cadets win big at Giants Ridge.

The St. Thomas Academy boys alpine ski team won in a big way Wednesday during the state boys meet. 

The Cadets took home the team state title with 174 points, and Dylan Thomas won the individual event with a two-run time of 1:07.0 at Giants Ridge in Biwabik.

Madison Whalen finished fifth with a time of 1:08.4, Chayden Schmitz took 14th at 1:09.8, Klielan O’Brian finished 23rd at 1:11.8 and Tom Grojean finished 25th at 1:12.3.

Minnetonka finished second in the team race with 167 team points.
