Sold: Two Homes Sell in Mendota Heights

At the closing, look to the closer to take care of you.

Last week, two homes closed in Mendota Heights. The closing for home buyers can be a simple affair, but it’s actually the place where everything happens.

Closers have a difficult job. Before a buyer walks into the room and begins to sign a large stack of papers, the closer is making sure the title is clean and clear, that the mortgage is ready to go, that the home, title and mortgage insurance is in place, that there is a Truth In Lending statement and that all the agreements and disclosures are accounted for.

Most closers are highly trained and highly skilled. The closer will try to explain everything during the process, but if you have a question either during or after the closing, it’s OK to ask.
