Sold: Fewer Homes, Fewer Sales in Mendota Heights
Upscale prices mean fewer buyers as well.
The number of homes changing hands in the Mendota Heights, Mendota and Lilydale area remains low.
Part of the reason is that there are fewer homes on the market in these cities than in other nearby suburbs. Currently, Eagan has 367 homes listed compared to the Mendota Heights area’s 106 homes. Home prices in cities like Eagan are also different; an Eagan condo can be had for $29,900 while the lowest-priced home in the Mendota Heights area is selling for $107,000.
Last week, only one home changed hands, but it was on the market for just a little more than two months, a quick sale in today’s market at that price.
