Sold: End Of Summer Means Sales in Mendota Heights

Four more homes sell in Mendota Heights.

It's the end of the summer and homes are sell faster than ever in the Mendota Heights area.

Whether this happened so the kids would be in their new school district before school started, so the weather would be good for moving furniture or for another reason, the last week saw four homes change hands in the city.

Unless you’re buying a home in an association that does all the outside work for you, new homeowners may find that they have some maintenance or repairs to do before cold weather sets in. First-time home buyers may want to set aside some money for a ladder (for clearing gutters), a snow blower (or at least a couple of snow shovels), an ice rake and an ice chipper. Despite the extra work, owning a home has many rewards including pride, equity and the chance to make decisions about your own home.
