Temperatures are blazing. How do you keep kids entertained and safe?

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s darn hot out. While the summer sun is always welcome in Minnesota, extreme hot temperatures pose challenges for those trying to soak in some summer while staying safe.

Kids are particularly prone to heat stroke, but are also the first ones to take on an outdoor adventure.

How do you keep your kids cool but not cooped up when the thermometer rises into the 90s or even 100s? What safety precautions do you take?
