MnDOT: Highway 13 in Lilydale Closed Due to Road Failure
Emergency repairs are needed to fix the road and stabilize the bluff.
A portion of Highway 13 in Lilydale was closed this afternoon by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) after a section of the road failed.
The failure happened along a portion of the bluff that is "at risk of a washout" according to a statement, about a half mile west of Interstate 35E.
MnDOT is on the site to determine what work needs to be done before reopening the road.
