Lane Closures Begin on Hwy. 13 in Mendota Heights

This round of closures around Highway 55 and Highway 110 is scheduled to run through May 18.

Lane closures on Highway 13 in the Mendota Heights area will begin Monday, May 7, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Areas near the intersections of Highway 13 and Highway 110, as well as Highway 13 and Highway 55, are scheduled to close intermittently between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.

Other closures on Highway 13 in Mendota Heights can be expected between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

This round of work, scheduled through May 18, will upgrade the intersections to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and complete some minor repair work to the concrete and drainage systems.

It’s all part of an $11.5 million project to reconstruct 12 miles of Highway 13 from Burnsville in the south to Annapolis in the north.
