Why go: Entertainment by comic Janet Williams performing “The Tennessee Tramp.” Williams' bio describes her as "wacky" and "relatable."

Jazz at the Saint Paul JCC: Roni Ben-Hur Quartet

Where/when?  Saint Paul Jewish Community Center, 1375 St. Paul Avenue, St. Paul; Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
Why go:  Listen to an elite ensemble in modern jazz, the Roni Ben-Hur Quartet.
Pricing: $15 members, $20 community, Free for students

Cycle for Y Partners

Where/when? In the gym of South Family YMCA, 150 Thompson Avenue E in West St. Paul; Saturday noon- 2 p.m.
Why go?  Indoor cycling enthusiasts will be spinning their wheels during a 2 hour class  to raise money through pledges  to support the YMCA.  There is still space available, so put on those bike shorts and join the fun.  Treats, games, prizes and great, high-energy music are sure to brighten up a winter Saturday.
Pricing:  Cyclists are asking for $10 pledges—if you want to ride, or just make a donation to support the Y Partners, call 651-457-0048 or visit www.ymcatwincities.org and click on the South Family YMCA.

Visitation Robettes Open House

Where/when?  The Robettes workspace downtown, 411 Broadway, St. Paul; Saturday, Feb. 12 from 2- 4 p.m.
Why go? The Visitation robotics team, aka The Robettes, will have their two robots, Ellie and Jackie, on display. Guests can see the robots in action and take a guided tour around the workspace.
Pricing: Free

Woolly Bears: Who's There? Owls!

Where/when? Dodge Nature Center, 365 Marie Avenue West, West Saint Paul; Saturday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Why go?  Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 can learn about the glorious owl through stories, puppetry, music and more. Will there be a live owl to meet?  Whoooo knows? 
Pricing: $14 for children, must be accompanied by parent. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Call 651-455-4531 for information.
