The results of Patch's most recent Readers' Choice  are in, and  has been voted the South Metro's Favorite Garden Center.

was a contender in the regional poll.

Gerten's Farm Market was a dark horse in the contest. The business was added to the poll three days after it launched, but enjoyed a late voting surge, eventuall overtaking neighboring superstore Gertens, an early favorite. In the end, Gerten's Farm Market took the title, with 50 percent of the vote. Gertens was the runner up, taking 24 percent of the vote.

Katie Gerten, manager of Gerten's Farm Market, says that what sets her business apart from the competition is the friendly, one-on-one customer service.

"A lot of it has to do with our smaller setting," said Gerten. "We pride ourselves in having quality plants."
