At the top of every hour, Wes Cutter's basement workroom becomes a nuanced blend of chimes, bells and buzzes, with a faint cuckoo bird tweeting from somewhere in the mix.

The sound is beautiful to Cutter, who runs his own watch and clock repair company, , from his home.

 

Henry Sibley High School students celebrated Prom Saturday, May 7 at the Great Hall in St. Paul. Students adorned with bright colors and cheerful spirits arrived in limos and buses on this spring evening to have a memorable night full of fun, friends and music.

 

Henry Sibley choir students, District 197 parents, and adults from the Gar Lockrem Community Choir spoke up Monday before the  at Mendota Heights City Hall in support of keeping  at the high school next year.

Among those positions being affected by staff cuts throughout the district, Kapaun has been identified for a reduction in hours and a move to the elementary schools. Another music teacher in the district is planned to take his place.

 

It’s a tough question for any artist.

Mendota Heights artist Jimmy Reagan, 17, held his first art exhibition April 28 at Sunfish Cellars. His artwork is on display as part of the University of Minnesota’s 16th annual WineFest fundraise
