Train Wreck news: Grades are in
If the PPACA were a term paper, what grade would it get? Based on its performance so far, it doesn't look good.
I point today to an excellent article in the Weekly Standard, called
An Obamacare Report Card.
The article details the unfortunate story of the PPACA, and is chock full of references to the broken promises and poor results of the PPACA.
It is clear to me that the legislation is truly a #TrainWreck. It is doing enormous damage to the economy as well as both the insurance industry and the medical profession, while costing trillions of dollars. Worst of all, this enormous cost has been borne on the promise to "cover" all Americans. The CBO recently told us that not only has that failed so far, but it is not likely to achieve its ends at all.
The question now is: where do we go from here?
