Gopher Coach, NFL Standout Speak at Tommy Chicago's to Benefit MHAA

Tuesday's speakers will be the first in a regular series to benefit the athletic organization.

Patrons at  can hear more about the sports they love from leaders both on and off the field as part of a special Tuesday night series to benefit the Mendota Heights Athletic Association. 

Mike Magnuson, both a co-commissioner of MHAA and the owner of Tommy Chicago's in the Village said he hopes the speaker series becomes a win-win for both the youth athletes and the restaurant.

Ten percent of sales on Tuesdays will be donated to the MHAA baseball program for development, extra equipment and to help pay for tournaments.

The speaker series will bring in guests monthly to talk and answer questions. 

The first speakers, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 24 are Tracy Claeys, defensive coordinator for the University of Minnesota and Ray Hitchcock former Gopher and Washington Redskin.
