The Sun Shines Down on Annual Mendota Heights Parks Celebration

Mendota Heights Park and Recreation Department held its annual Parks Celebration at Mendakota Park June 4 under blue skies.

The Parks Celebration marked its 24th year on Suturday will something special—nice weather.

The event was held in conjunction with the Mendota Heights Youth Softball Tournament and the at The Village.

Under warm blue skies, families mingled and children played at , where the set up a variety of activities for children of all ages including Walton's Hollow Petting Zoo, entertainment and live music provided by The Splatter Sisters, fire truck rides with the jumping castles, snacks, and foot races.
