'T'anks Amelia' Fundraiser Planned for Warriors vs. Cadets Basketball Game

Friday's intra-city match-up will also be an opportunity to aid a community booster facing cancer.

The Henry Sibley High School Activities Office is hosting a fundraiser at Friday's Sibley vs. St. Thomas Academy basketball game to benefit local athletics booster, Amelia Olson. 

Tip-off is 7 p.m. at Henry Sibley High School.

Olson, who operates Mendota Heights Athletic Association (MHAA), is facing cancer treatments at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

The athletics community in Mendota Heights area can say "'T'anks" to Olson for her years of work supporting local programming by attending the game and considering a donation. Money raised will be used to help cover travel costs and help keep her "fueled up" for the fight, according to Mendota Heights parent Sharon Brooks.
