Richfield homeowner wins $200 giftcard. Mendota Heights contestant takes third place.
Minnesota Patch announces the winner of our first holiday homes decorating contest, Kris Klos of Richfield.
Klos received 73 votes from Minnesota Patch sites. Mendota Heights Patch winner Dan Wills came in third place after Klos and Minnetonka contestants Gene and Linda Stageberg.
Wills told Mendota Heights Patch that the decorating of his property is a family activity that his friends and neighbors enjoy as well.

One voter commented that the Wills home was worthy of a Super Bowl commercial spot.
The Klos family will receive a $200 gift card to a Minnetonka business.
