Annual Fireworks Display Ends Fourth of July in Mendota Heights with a Bang

Large crowds gathered to watch the annual Mendakota Fourth of July fireworks.

Large crowds settled in at , Mendota Plaza Shopping Center and several other choice viewing spots to take in the annual Mendota Heights fireworks spectacular Monday night.

The fireworks started just a bit after 10 p.m. and ran about 40 minutes. Kids with sparklers and neighbors with assorted small fireworks provided the warm up acts to the main event.

Families from around the area gathered to watch the event, cosponsored by the City of Mendota Heights and . The fireworks were set off from the country club.
