Learn the secrets of comedy writing from comedian Scott Novotny at the “Sit Down with Stand-Up: Comedy Writing Workshop” Thursday, April 5, 6:30–8 p.m., Wentworth Library, 199 E. Wentworth, West St. Paul.  At the end of the workshop, participants will perform a live comedy routine.  Novotny has been in the comedy business for more than 20 years. He has headlined comedy clubs throughout the United States, acted in numerous stage productions, worked at the Brave New Workshop, owned and operated The Comedy Cabaret, and written for Saturday Night Live and the comic strip Strange Brew. Registration is required at this free workshop.
