Featuring Dakota County Soil and Water Conservation District Watershed Conservationist Laura Jester
Come learn about the current condition of Minnesota’s precious water ways– starting from a statewide perspective, then narrowing down to our local communities in northern Dakota County. Ms. Jester will help untangle the web of regulatory functions performed by various governmental agencies and provide insight into best practices that are working on the land to help improve our waters. An emphasis will be placed on our personal connections to water quality and the practices we can all implement to improve water in our communities. Pre-registration is required.

More About Thomas Irvine Dodge Nature Center
The Thomas Irvine Dodge Nature Center is a 320-acre environmental education and habitat restoration center located in West St. Paul and Mendota Heights.
The center offers a preschool, classes open to the public, six miles of walking trails, a working farm, honey bees, gardens, farm animals, event space, apple orchards and expert staff to run it all and educate the many visitors.
Dodge is designed to be a natural oasis in an urban environment.
