Signature Speaker Series: State of Our Waters
Featuring Dakota County Soil and Water Conservation District Watershed Conservationist Laura Jester
Come learn about the current condition of Minnesota’s precious water ways– starting from a statewide perspective, then narrowing down to our local communities in northern Dakota County. Ms. Jester will help untangle the web of regulatory functions performed by various governmental agencies and provide insight into best practices that are working on the land to help improve our waters. An emphasis will be placed on our personal connections to water quality and the practices we can all implement to improve water in our communities. Pre-registration is required.
