Ever wonder how we use wind to make electricity? We’ll have a hands-on opportunity to experiment with model wind turbines and learn factors that affect energy production. We’ll view Dodge’s new wind turbine at some point during this program. Naturalist Teresa Root will be our presenter.
O.W.L.S is a series of one-hour programs offered for seniors interested in learning more about the natural environment. Donations accepted. Pre-registration is required by the Friday prior to the program.

More About Thomas Irvine Dodge Nature Center
The Thomas Irvine Dodge Nature Center is a 320-acre environmental education and habitat restoration center located in West St. Paul and Mendota Heights.
The center offers a preschool, classes open to the public, six miles of walking trails, a working farm, honey bees, gardens, farm animals, event space, apple orchards and expert staff to run it all and educate the many visitors.
Dodge is designed to be a natural oasis in an urban environment.
