Community Conversation on Local Lakes

1200 Stassen Ln, West St Paul, MN | Get Directions »
FREE

Earlier this year, the Lower Mississippi River Watershed Management Organization began a study of the water quality and possible pollution sources in Pickerel Lake in Lilydale, Rogers Lake in Mendota Heights, Sunfish Lake in the city of Sunfish Lake, and Thompson Lake in West St. Paul. A second part of the study aims to understand the thoughts and visions of community members and involve them in the plans for improving these lakes.

Join your neighbors in a conversation about Pickerel, Rogers, Sunfish and Thompson Lakes.

Come to learn about the water quality study happening on these lakes and the results of a survey of residents near the lakes.  Then participate in small groups to share your thoughts about the lakes, tell historical anecdotes, and discuss your vision for future lake conditions.

Registration requested, but not required, by Nov. 7th at laura.jester@co.dakota.mn.us or (651) 480-7784
