Convent of The Visitation School, 2455 Visitation Dr, Mendota Heights, MN | Get Directions »
FREE
Start the Christmas season off in a very special way at a musical and dramatic telling of an Advent story on Sunday, December 2, at 2 p.m. in Visitation’s Commers Gymnasium. Enjoy performances by the Middle School Orchestra, VISTA Orchestra, Eighth-Grade Pops, Middle School VISTA Choir, Vis Choirs, VISTA Choir and VISTA In-Pulse.
This musical event is a creation of the Visitation Middle and Upper School music programs and VISTA Productions. Wendy Short-Hays has developed a story in a radio-show style of Advent at Visitation through the eyes of the angel statue which stands outside the Upper School Commons. Our angel will share the many wonderful service projects, events and other special activities that take place at our school during the Advent season.
As always, this performance is free and open to the public.

More About Convent of The Visitation School
Convent of the Visitation School was founded by the Order of the Visitation Sisters of Holy Mary in St. Paul in 1873. The monastery and the school moved to Mendota Heights in 1965. The all-female Middle and Upper schools provide a college-prep education to girls in grades 7-12. The co-ed Lower School educates students in kindergarten - grade 6. A Montessori pre-school and a child care center for younger children also operate on-site. Visitation is the primary feeder school for boys enrolling at St. Thomas Academy.
