The entire community benefits when parents are more skilled and invested in their role as parents and children have positive early life experiences and enter school eager and ready to learn. Investing in early childhood education is money well spent.

As a mother of four children in the district, we have participated in the I.S.D. 197 Early Childhood Family Education program for the past 12 years. The ECFE program emphasizes the role of the parents as their child's first and most influential teacher. The entire community benefits when parents are more skilled and invested in their role as parents and children have positive early life experiences and enter school eager and ready to learn. The ECFE & Early Learning programs are fee based. The parents choose to take their money outRead Moreof their own pockets as an investment. The referendum is for funds to increase much needed space to meet demand. Vote Yes 197
