The Sibley girls basketball team takes an 0-1 record into this weekend’s home tournament. The Warriors face Hastings at 7:30 p.m. Friday and East Ridge at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Sibley girls hockey team will take a four-game winning streak into its game at Irondale on Saturday. After losing their opener to St. Paul United, the Warriors have defeated Minneapolis, 4-1; Detroit Lakes, 5-1; Fergus Falls, 3-2, and St. Paul Blades, 3-2.
In Tuesday’s win over St. Paul Blades, Sibley trailed 2-0 before scoring two goals in the second period and the game-winner in the third period. Scoring goals for the Warriors were Elizabeth Fiddler, Erika Hillstrom and Alexa Wild.
