Police Continue to Investigate Fatal Shooting in West St. Paul

No new information was released by police on Saturday.

West St. Paul police continue to investigate Friday night’s shooting death of a West St. Paul man.

Published reports say police released no new information about the incident on Saturday. The deceased man had yet to be identified.

According to the Star Tribune and Pioneer Press, police found the man wounded in the driveway of a home in the 900 block of Ohio Street at about 8 p.m. Friday. The man was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he died.

This is the first homicide in West St. Paul since 2004, West St. Police Police Chief Bud Shaver told the Pioneer Press.
