Map: Mendota Heights Area 2012 Construction
The Mendota Heights city engineer created a map outlining this summer's road work.
Between city, county and state road construction projects that are or will be underway this summer, Mendota Heights area residents can expect to see a lot of orange cones this summer.
“Ten projects. One summer. A lot of new pavement when we’re done," commented City Engineer John Mazzitello at Tuesday night's city council meeting.
To help with event planning and the everyday grind of getting to-and-fro, Mazzitello developed a color-coded map with proposed timelines as a reference. (See attached PDF)
Not shown on the map is an Xcel Energy project on Highway 13 in front of Lilydale Garden Center. That project is expected to be complete early next week.
Dates are tentative. For example, delays on the Highway 110 project may run into the county's project on Lexington, otherwise scheduled to happen consecutively.
