Photo Gallery: At Lilydaze Festival, Food and Friendship Flows
Second annual event draws a host of friends and neighbors for a gathering with musix, fun and fellowship
The theme of the second annual Lilydaze Festival -- "Fun, Food and Friendship" -- were all in ample supply Saturday.
The festival featued music from several different artists, food from local restaurants, cooking demonstrations, chiropractic massages, local vendors and lots of fellowship between friends and neighbors.
The event was held in front of the River Bluffs Center, just east of Interstate 35E on Sibley Memorial Highway.
Food vendors include Bogey's, Buon Giorno Italia, Chef's Abode, Moose Country, and the Pool and Yacht Club.
Folk singer Charlie Maguire and The Paula Lammers Jazz Combo provided the early entertainment. Tim Mahoney headlined the eafternoon music.

What a great day and event . Congratulations to Lilydale . Sgt Neil Garlock has been nominated for " unsung hero " for his unstinting work supporting the special Olympics , in organizing Mendota Heights 5K walk /run . He may actually have won it !
