Southbound Highway 13 is scheduled to close Friday between Cliff Road and Interstate 35W in Burnsville, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Intersections to southbound Highway 13 from Nicollet Avenue, Portland Avenue and County Road 11 will be closed.  

A detour for the highway closure will direct motorists to Cliff Road and Interstate 35W and back onto Highway 13.

Local businesses will remain accessible, according to MnDOT.

The road is scheduled to reopen before rush hour Monday, July 9.
