The Eagan Art House announces the Harvest of Art Community Art Exhibit, Sept. 9 through Nov. 2.

The Eagan Art House is asking for submissions from local artists for its seventh annual Harvest of Art Community Art Exhibit.

Artists living "south of the river" are encouraged to submit work in all media for the exhibit, which opens on Sept. 9 and runs through Nov. 2. The opening ceremony for the exhibit will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 9 at the Eagan Art House.

The exhibit will then be displayed at various community locations including Easter Lutheran Church, Ring Mountain Creamery, Dunn Bros. Coffee and the Eagan Community Center.

The exhibit is open to all "south of the river" artists, ages 8-18 and ages 19+. For artists ages 8-18, the registration fee is $16 per person for up to two pieces of artwork. In the 19 and older category, the fee is $22 per person for up to two pieces of artwork. Register by Aug. 20. Complete exhibit guidelines are available on the Eagan Art House website.
