Here's how to get to the Minnesota State Fair from Mendota Heights and more.
Day 9: Aug. 31
It’s MPR Day at the Fair, and the public radio station will be broadcasting from the Carousel Park stage.
The rides at Mighty Midway and Kidway have a one-ticket discount until 1 p.m.
The Current's Music On-a-Stick show at the grandstand starts at 5 p.m. and features Semisonic, Dessa and Jeremy Messersmith. Tickets are $35.

State Fair Express buses operate from 17 Twin Cities locations on 15- and 30-minute loops. The closest to Mendota Heights is at Signal Hills Shopping Center by K-Mart in West St. Paul. Rides cost $5. Check the fair’s express bus website for more information.
