Patrick O’Connell, 87, of Lilydale, passed away peacefully at home with his four daughters on Dec. 17, 2012. Graduate of Cretin High School, West Point Military Academy and Harvard Business School. Longtime career with Honeywell. United States Air Force pilot and veteran of the Korean War. Preceded in death by his wife (Marilou); parents Thomas and Winifred. Survived by daughters Patricia O'Connell (John Wilson), Susie O'Connell (Gary Wiebusch), Lulu Gores (Jim) & Maureen Barry (Steve); grandchildren Meaghan, P.J., Lucy, Tom, Grady, Michael & Katie; nieces, nephews & many dear friends. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1405 Highway 13, Mendota Heights, with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11 a.m. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Friday at 10 a.m. A special thank you to Dr. James Giefer for his exceptional care.
