Mendota Heights’ Winter Wonderland Photo Contest Winners Announced

Despite the spring weather, the Mendota Heights City Council considered winter at their meeting May 2, where the winners of Mendota Heights’ Winter Wonderland Photo Contest were officially announced. Winning submissions are displayed in City Hall.

In the category of Nature and Wildlife, first place went to Maria Humphreys, while second and third place went to Valarie Namen.  For photos with the theme of People and Pets, Tom Wittrock won first place, Maureen Kucera-Walsh took second place, and Valerie Anderson secured third place. In the City Scenes category, Maria Humphries took first place, Katie Schultz won second place, and Tom Wittrock received the third place prize.

Maria Humphreys, who won first place in two of the three candidates, was on hand to receive her awards from Mayor Sandra Krebsbach.
